Flywheel Tulsa
Creating events that bring together all of what makes Tulsa and Oklahoma great, with a spotlight on music, art, tech, and food.
Flywheel launched in 2022, and first partnered with the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough in the summer of 2023. Already an iconic Tulsa event, Flywheel approached Tulsa Tough to bring an annual music concert event to Saturday night called Big Ride. This Flywheel presented event builds on the already great Saint Francis Tulsa Tough Saturday races to create an amazing Tulsa experience! Big Ride returns on June 6, 2026, as the Saturday night celebration and afterparty of Tulsa Tough — promising an unforgettable night of live music and celebration.
Flywheel’s second great presented event, Big Bite, is Tulsa’s and Oklahoma’s newest food festival, debuting in 2023 as part of Big Ride’s VIP experience. In 2024, Big Bite became its own food festival experience, complete with showcases of art and music. Now in its third year as a standalone event, Big Bite returns on April 18, 2026, at the Gateway Event Center in downtown Tulsa. Featuring chefs, restaurants, and vendors from across the state, Big Bite celebrates Oklahoma’s incredible food scene alongside live music, interactive art, and curated experiences.
Flywheel’s third amazing event is Chroma, a technology event that showcases the amazing technology innovation as well as incredible legacy technology in and around the Tulsa area, put on in partnership with Gradient. Chroma will debut as a one day event in support of the Oklahoma IT Symposium and the Tulsa CIO Forum on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Gradient’s incredible facility in downtown Tulsa.

About Flywheel
Flywheel doesn’t just give people a reason to engage with Tulsa – it showcases the spirit of our city.
The New York Times called Tulsa “Beta City, U.S.A” given its status as a testing ground for social programs, ventures, and new concepts. But the fact that Tulsa is a place where people and ideas can find the resources and traction to make it big isn’t a widely known fact.
